What We Offer

Forge Beyond X Psychological Services, PLLC offers a variety of options for clinical and non-clinical services.

Clinical services include insurance-based and self-pay individual psychotherapy and psychological evaluations. All therapy sessions and evaluations are completed via HIPAA compliant telehealth.

*I recommend reviewing your insurance plan to thoroughly understand your benefits including in-network and out-of-network options. I may be able to provide you with a superbill or insurance company specific medical claim form (i.e. Tricare DD Form 2642) you could submit to your insurance provider to request reimbursement for therapy services and psychological assessments.

Non-clinical services include individual or small group coaching, speaker engagements, supervision and consultation. These services are exclusively for self-paying clients and cannot be billed or submitted to healthcare insurance for reimbursement. These services do not include behavioral healthcare, medical advice, or behavioral health interventions. Depending on your location and needs, delivery of services may be offered by phone, video, digital content or in-person. I offer a 15-minute free phone consultation to discuss your initial request before setting up additional meetings.

Payment is expected at the time of service.

I do not offer pro bono services, sliding scale fees, or payment plans at this time.

Because I hold multiple professional roles within the VA and military systems, I take potential conflicts of interest and overlapping professional relationships seriously. I have established specific boundaries regarding who I can accept as a private-practice client in order to minimize the possibility of conflicts, protect confidentiality, and maintain objectivity in each of my professional roles. Because of my current roles and responsibilities, I am not accepting clients who are currently serving in the Army National Guard or veterans who are otherwise eligible for mental health care through the Richmond VAMC or the Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) affiliated with the Richmond VAMC.

If you are unsure whether your circumstances create a potential conflict, please feel free to reach out before scheduling. I am happy to discuss whether private practice is an appropriate setting for us to work together and, when appropriate, help identify other resources or providers.

Clinical Services No-Show/Late Cancellation Policy:

For insurance-based clients seen by me through Headway all No-Shows and Late Cancellations (within 24 hours of appointment time) incur a $100 fee.

For self-pay therapy and assessment clients, no-shows will incur the full session charge. For late cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, 75% of the session fee will be charged.

For non-clinical clients (i.e. coaching services) no-shows and late cancellations within 24 hours, 75% of the session fee will be charged.

There is a 15-minute grace period past your scheduled appointment time before the session will be considered a no-show.

Services may be terminated and alternative resources recommended if multiple no-shows and late cancellations interfere with ability to engage and make progress in sessions.
